FORENSIC PHYSICS LABORATORY

Abstract:

Forensic Physics Laboratory deals with a large variety of forensic investigation services. We have solved and given expert opinions on many cases like examination of tool marks, telegraph, copper wires, counterfeit coins, soil, dust, dirt, debris, glass, paint chips in hit and run cases, comparison of torn fabric, ropes, etc. Trace elemental analysis in glass, soil, paint, and metals restoration of erased marks/numbers on stolen asides like vehicles, machines, silver wares, preamps, etc. Modern instruments like emission spectrograph, Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer, DTA, X ray Diffraction, energy dispersive spectrophotometer, Differential Scanning Calorimeter etc. VSC-5000, is used for the examination of Forged Documents like duplicate currency notes, fake stamp papers, lottery tickets, Passport, VISA, etc. Within this laboratory we solve only the cases which we are able to do because we don't have proper instruments to solve a variety of cases. In case if we are unable to do an examination, we take help of other laboratories.
